Homepage Rewrite
For B2B service companies (agency, outsourcing, consulting): give it your homepage URL, get back a clarity and trust diagnosis, new copy for every block, a remove list and a pre-ship checklist.
npx skills add victor-shulga/homepage-rewrite/skills/homepage-rewriteWhat it does
I built it after a trust pass on my own homepage. The copy was clear, yet a "coming soon" card and promises with no case next to them made it read like a pitch. The skill runs two tracks over the same page. Clarity: can a buyer from your market tell from the first screen what you sell, to whom and with what result? Trust: does every promise carry a named case with a number in the same block, are the logos paying clients, do the quotes have a name, role and company, is a single placeholder left? It builds a proof bank first and never invents a case, a number, a quote or a logo. Free, MIT licence. The result is a local file; the skill publishes nothing to your site.
Input and output
Key features
- 5-second test of the first screen: what, for whom, what result
- Six trust rules: named cases with numbers, real logos and quotes, no placeholders, proof next to the promise, a link behind every claim, a human voice
- Proof sits in the same block as the promise it backs
- Proof bank first; unverified items go to questions, never to copy
- Blocks that already work are marked "keep", not rewritten
- Works in Claude Code, Claude Desktop or claude.ai; reads the site with any fetch tool, or you paste the text
Works with
- Website Audit: technical and mobile audit of the same site, before the rewrite and after it ships
- Page Builder: service, industry and case pages from the same canvas and proof bank
